Funglan Air Purifiers

Funglan air purifiers are manufactured by Funglan Environmental Protection & Technology Co., Ltd., located on the mainland of China. The company began production of their air purifiers for home and car in 2004. The company continues research and development in areas to improve indoor environment. They distribute only Funglan brand products.

Funglan Air Purifier Technology

Funglan utilizes an innovative and patented technology in their air purifiers. Their unique air washing system generates a water screen that washes bacteria, odors and other particles from the air. The company claims that their water spraying system can remove 99% of dust, pollen, bacteria, odor, ammonia, benzene, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other organic pollutants. It uses both HEPA and Active Carbon filters to filter even the smallest of airborne particles.

Funglan claims:

• Air purified with one of their purifiers with a water spraying system is fresher than air purified with other types of systems. Other purifiers make the air dry and astringent while air purified with a Funglan system smells of water. The waterfall inside the unit produces millions of negative ions to make the air even fresher.
• The water spraying system also acts as a humidifier.
• The Funglan water air purifying system is very low maintenance and the filters can last up to three years. Filters in other systems last from three to six months. Their filters last longer because the water absorbs most of the airborne particles.
• The antibacterial filters are also washable, which allows the pollutants they absorb to decompose, cutting down on the odor and harmful gases that furniture and carpet can release into the air.
• The case that contains the air purifying system is made from environmentally friendly material. The paint is also ecologically safe.

Funglan’s air purifiers are the only units on the market with the water washing system.

Funglan Air Purifier Models

Funglan has a number of different models of air purifier, most of which utilize their patented air washing system. Some of these models include:

• KJG-101 – This unit has the water washing technology, ozone sterilization, an anti-bacterial pre-filter for the larger particles, a carbon filter to absorb gases, and a HEPA filter the smaller particles. This air purifier covers approximately 645 square feet.
• KJG-180A – This is a mid-range unit with all of the features of the KJG-101 with a larger coverage area. Optional features include temperature, humidity, and air quality displays as well as a smell and dust sensor.
• KJG-280 – This model has all of the features of the KJG 101 and the 180A plus a negative ionizer, a remote control, three speed settings, and a four-level timer, including optional sleep mode.
• The Tower – This smaller freestanding unit uses ionization to produce a clean safe indoor environment. The ionization tube can run for 9000 hours without being replaced.
