Hunter offers a range of low cost portable air purifiers. Their more expensive products tend to score mid-range in Clean Air Delivery Rate tests with their lower cost products not doing so well. Although some units include ultraviolet light technology to attack germs, it is unclear on the effectiveness of this technology unless germs can be trapped for a long time and held under very powerful UV light sufficient enough to kill them.
