1. Pre-filter
This is the first filter in the Whispure system that starts the whole process of cleaning the air.

But it isn’t efficient in removing small particles for which HEPA filter is intended.
NOTE: This pre-filter can be taken out and washed when needed, making the Whispure economical to operate without the need for often pre-filter replacements.
2. HEPA Filter:
The second filter is the HEPA filter. It removes up to 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns or larger.
It is highly effective in filtering out even the tiniest of particles in the air.
The HEPA filter needs to be replaced annually under normal usage.
There is also a HEPA filter replacement indicator light when the filter needs to be replaced.
3. Charcoal Carbon Pre-filter:
This is the last step of this filtration process. Carbon filter job is to remove chemicals and odors from the area.
This filter is not washable. It should be replaced every three months under normal use conditions.
The charcoal pre-filters come in packs of 4. You should change them about four times a year, so this pack will last one year.
When green indicator light comes on, it is time to change carbon pre-filter.
You will have to buy replacement filters for this unit over time. A new HEPA filter is recommended every year and a half. The carbon filter is recommended every 4-6 months.
